Israel Continues Shelling Across Gaza Despite Ceasefire Agreement

Gaza Herald – Israeli forces carried out artillery shelling and opened fire in several areas across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning, marking the 137th consecutive day of reported violations since the ceasefire came into effect.

Local sources reported that Israeli artillery struck the al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, while heavy gunfire was heard from military vehicles positioned north of Rafah in the southern part of the Strip.

Further shelling was reported in eastern Gaza City and in the northern town of Beit Lahia.

These incidents occur amid ongoing breaches of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which came into force in October.

According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, since the ceasefire began, at least 615 Palestinians have been killed, 1,651 injured, and 726 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble.
