Israeli Forces Kill Three Palestinians in Gaza Ceasefire Violations, Including Young Girl

Gaza Herald — Israeli forces killed three Palestinians, including a young girl, and wounded 10 others in southern Gaza early Monday, October 26, as Israeli attacks continued despite the ceasefire agreement.

Local sources identified those killed as Hussam Fakhri al-Zamli, 21, Tamer Suneima, and young Jouri Islam al-Soufi, following gunfire and an Israeli drone strike targeting displacement tents in the al-Iqlimi area of al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis.

Displacement Tents Come Under Attack

According to local reports, armed groups described as collaborating with Israeli forces infiltrated the displacement camp in al-Mawasi and opened fire toward tents sheltering Palestinian families.

The reports said the armed men encountered an ambush by Palestinian resistance fighters as they advanced.

Israeli drones subsequently intervened, reportedly dropping three smoke bombs as the armed group withdrew, while heavy gunfire and an airstrike followed.

Three Palestinians were killed and 10 others wounded in the incident, according to the local sources.

The attack struck an area where displaced families have sought shelter after repeated waves of Israeli bombardment and forced displacement.

Israeli Gunfire and Shelling Continue Across Gaza

Israeli military vehicles also opened fire northeast of Khan Younis and north of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

In northern Gaza, Israeli artillery shelled areas west of Beit Lahia, continuing attacks across several parts of the Strip.

The incidents come amid repeated reported Israeli violations of the ceasefire, leaving Palestinians exposed to further violence despite the agreement.

Gaza Death Toll Continues to Rise

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 1,562 Palestinians have been killed and 5,573 wounded since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025. Recovery teams have also retrieved 842 bodies during that period.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 74,553 Palestinians and wounded 175,692 others, according to the ministry.

The latest killings underscore the continuing danger facing Gaza’s civilians, particularly displaced families living in tents with little protection from gunfire and airstrikes.

Despite the ceasefire, Palestinian families continue to face deadly attacks, insecurity and the threat of further displacement.
