Israeli Violations Continue: Bombardment and Demolitions in Eastern Gaza

Gaza Herald- Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement for the 119th consecutive day on Saturday, launching artillery fire across various parts of the Gaza Strip and demolishing buildings in eastern Gaza and Khan Younis.

Local sources reported that Israeli artillery shelled the eastern areas of Khan Younis while simultaneously blowing up entire residential blocks in the same region.

Israeli helicopters also fired machine guns at several neighborhoods, particularly in the southern parts of the city. Meanwhile, Israeli naval forces opened fire from warships off the coast of Khan Younis.

Additionally, Israeli artillery bombarded the eastern parts of Gaza City.

Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, Israel’s repeated violations have killed 601 Palestinians, including 192 children and 82 women, and wounded 1,535 others.

Since the beginning of the genocide campaign on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed over 71,803 Palestinians and injured more than 171,570, while destroying around 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure. The UN estimates the cost of reconstruction to be around $70 billion.
