Gaza Herald – At least 12 Palestinians were killed and others wounded early Saturday as Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, marking the 112th consecutive day of ceasefire violations.
Medical sources reported that seven members of Abu Hdaid family were killed when an Israeli strike hit their tent in the Asdaa area northwest of Khan Younis. The killed included the grandfather, his children, and three young grandchildren.
In Gaza City, four more Palestinians, including two children and a woman, were killed after an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential apartment near Abbas Junction. Additional civilians were injured in separate strikes on homes near Jabalia and along Al-Jalaa Street.
Israeli aircraft also launched new strikes on eastern areas of central Gaza, while injuries were reported from multiple locations amid the ongoing bombardment of densely populated neighborhoods.
Since the ceasefire came into effect, Israeli forces have killed at least 520 Palestinians and wounded more than 1,360 others. Since October 7, 2023, the war on Gaza has left over 71,600 dead, more than 171,000 injured, and around 90% of civilian infrastructure destroyed, according to UN estimates.
