Israel Violates Gaza Ceasefire 1,450 Times, Kills Hundreds of Civilians

Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continue to violate the Gaza ceasefire, killing civilians and carrying out airstrikes and demolitions, according to a statement released Saturday by Gaza’s Government Media Office, marking 111 days since the agreement took effect.

The office said at least 11 Palestinians were killed since dawn, including seven members of one displaced family after an Israeli strike hit a tent in Khan Younis. The victims included five children, a woman, and an elderly man, underscoring what officials described as the deliberate targeting of civilians.

Since the ceasefire began on October 10, 2025, Israeli forces committed 1,450 serious violations, including 679 bombardments, 487 shooting incidents, 71 military incursions into residential areas, and 211 home demolitions, the statement said.

Human toll figures show 524 Palestinians killed during the ceasefire period, 92% of them civilians. Children, women, and the elderly accounted for more than half of the killed, while 1,360 people were wounded, nearly all inside civilian neighborhoods.

The statement also highlighted severe humanitarian violations, noting that only 43% of the agreed aid, commercial, and fuel trucks entered Gaza. Fuel deliveries reached just 2.7% of the promised amount, worsening shortages of electricity, water, medical supplies, and shelter materials.

The Government Media Office accused Israel of using the ceasefire as a tool of pressure and collective punishment, and called on the United States, international guarantors, and the United Nations to enforce the agreement, protect civilians, and ensure the unrestricted flow of aid into Gaza.
