Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire on Tuesday, carrying out artillery shelling and heavy gunfire across several areas of the Strip.
Israeli forces opened fire east of Gaza City and Jabalia, east of Khan Younis, while naval forces fired toward Palestinian waters off northern Gaza. Israeli artillery also struck the western Rafah and eastern Bureij refugee camp.
The escalation came alongside the detention of 10 Palestinian fishermen off the coast of central Gaza and southwest Gaza City. According to the Fishermen’s Committees Union, Israeli naval forces opened fire on their boats before transferring the fishermen to the Israeli-controlled Ashdod port.
The latest attacks are part of continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire, including attacks on civilian areas and displaced Palestinians, detonations within the so-called Yellow Line, and restrictions on the entry of goods and humanitarian aid and on Palestinian movement.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, Israeli ceasefire violations have now killed 1,325 Palestinians and injured 4,385 since the truce began in October 2025, while 815 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s genocide on Gaza has killed 73,461 Palestinians and injured 174,496, according to the ministry.
