Palestinian Met Dept Predicts Temp Drop, Rain Showers

Gaza Herald – The Palestinian Meteorological Department has forecast that the weather will be cloudy to partly cloudy on Friday, with another decline in temperatures. The opportunity for scattered rain showers remains available in some areas until noon hours. The department clarified that winds will be moderate to active from the west to northwest, with sea waves at a medium height.

During the evening and night, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy and relatively cold in most regions. According to forecasts, Saturday will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with moderate temperatures and a rise in heat. Winds will shift to light to moderate from the north to northeast, while sea conditions remain calm.

Sunday is predicted to feature partly cloudy to clear skies with moderate temperatures showing no significant change. A rise in temperatures is expected on Monday, followed by partly cloudy to cloudy conditions on Tuesday. The meteorological authority warned citizens about the risk of slipping on roads in areas experiencing rainfall.

The department emphasized safety precautions for motorists during the wet periods. Drivers are advised to exercise caution as visibility may decrease and road surfaces become hazardous due to the precipitation. These measures aim to prevent accidents associated with reduced traction on paved surfaces.

Weather patterns indicate a transition from cooler, wetter conditions to milder days later in the week. Residents should monitor local updates for any changes in the forecast. The agency continues to provide regular bulletins regarding atmospheric pressure and wind speeds affecting the region.
