Palestinian Factions Submit Unified Response to Mladenov Roadmap, Demand Full Ceasefire Implementation

Gaza Herald – Palestinian factions and political groups participating in talks in Cairo have formally submitted their official response to mediators regarding the roadmap proposed by Nikolay Mladenov, describing the move as part of ongoing efforts to end the war in Gaza and address the worsening humanitarian crisis.

In a joint statement issued on Monday, the factions said their response emphasizes the need for the full and unconditional implementation of the ceasefire agreement, arguing that partial or selective enforcement has contributed to continued instability and suffering across the Gaza Strip.

The factions called on the agreement’s mediators and guarantors to ensure Israel’s adherence to all provisions of the first phase of the ceasefire deal. They stressed the importance of a complete halt to attacks, the immediate implementation of humanitarian measures, and the unrestricted entry of aid into Gaza.

Among their key demands were the permanent opening of border crossings, the lifting of restrictions on humanitarian assistance, the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from the territory, and the activation of an administrative committee tasked with managing civilian affairs and supporting the population. They also called for the immediate launch of reconstruction efforts to address widespread destruction caused by the war.

The statement noted that the factions remain in continuous consultation to monitor political and field developments and to coordinate efforts aimed at securing what they said that the Palestinian people’s legitimate demands and reducing humanitarian suffering in the enclave.

The groups also expressed appreciation for the mediation efforts led by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, praising their continued engagement in discussions and efforts to advance proposals to sustain the ceasefire and create conditions for a broader political solution.

The submission of the response comes amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to preserve the truce reached in October 2025 and advance discussions on the next phase of arrangements for Gaza, as mediators continue working to bridge differences between the parties involved.
