Gaza Herald – Early Wednesday, a Palestinian man succumbed to injuries sustained during an Israeli airstrike two days prior in Khan Younis, while Israeli forces continued to breach the ceasefire in Gaza for the 172nd consecutive day.
Local sources confirmed that Muhammad Fouad Abu Mohsen died from severe wounds inflicted by an airstrike that bombed the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis two days ago. The strike on Sunday had already killed eight civilians and injured four others.
Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles fired heavily in southern Khan Younis early Wednesday, and artillery shells hit al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City as part of ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that 4 civilians were killed and 12 were injured in the past 24 hours due to Israeli attacks. Many victims remain trapped under rubble or in streets, with emergency teams struggling to reach them.
Since the ceasefire went into effect on 10 October 2025, the ministry has recorded 713 killed, 1,940 injuries, and 756 rescues. Cumulatively, since the start of the Israeli genocide on 7 October 2023, 72,289 Palestinians have been killed and 172,040 injured.
Israeli forces continue to maintain a strict siege over more than 2 million civilians in Gaza, closing crossings, restricting humanitarian aid, and carrying out sustained air, artillery, and naval attacks, along with the demolition of buildings and civilian infrastructure across the territory.
