Gaza Death Toll Rises to 73,438 as Israel’s Attacks Escalate

Gaza Herald – The Palestinian death toll from Israel’s ongoing genocide on the Strip has risen to 73,438, with 174,447 Palestinians injured since October 7, 2023, Medical sources in Gaza reported.

Hospitals across Gaza received 7 Palestinians killed over the past 24 hours, including five newly killed and two who succumbed to earlier injuries, along with 10 wounded.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, 1,303 Palestinians have been killed and 4,336 injured, while 814 bodies have been recovered from beneath the rubble.

Medical and rescue teams warned that additional victims remain trapped under destroyed buildings and stranded on roads, with the scale of devastation and lack of equipment making recovery operations increasingly difficult.

The latest figures underscore the continued human cost of Israel’s attacks on Gaza, even amid the fragile ceasefire, as Palestinians remain exposed to ongoing attacks and a collapsing humanitarian and rescue infrastructure.
