Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating the fragile Gaza ceasefire on Thursday for the 322nd consecutive day, carrying out artillery and gunfire attacks across the besieged Strip while maintaining restrictions on aid, goods, and civilian movement.
A Palestinian child, Obaida Qweider, was wounded by Israeli gunfire at the Qatar displacement camp east of Hamad City, northwest of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Israeli warships opened heavy fire off the coast of Khan Younis, while flares were fired over eastern Qarara. In northern Gaza, Israeli artillery struck Beit Lahia, while intense shelling hit the Shuja’iyya and Tuffah neighborhoods east of Gaza City.
The attacks are part of continuing Israeli violations of the ceasefire, including artillery and aerial strikes targeting areas where displaced Palestinians are sheltering, as well as demolition and destruction operations inside areas along the so-called “Yellow Line.”
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 1,304 Palestinians have been killed and 4,336 injured since the ceasefire began, with 814 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s genocide on Gaza has killed 73,439 Palestinians and wounded 174,447, according to the ministry, underscoring the devastating human toll of the ongoing attacks.
Despite the declared ceasefire, Palestinians in Gaza continue to face gunfire, shelling, displacement, and severe humanitarian restrictions, with civilians once again bearing the cost of Israel’s continued military violations.
