Gaza Herald – Israeli airstrikes hit Gaza City and Khan Younis at dawn on Thursday, alongside demolition operations in Jabalia and continued artillery fire across eastern areas of the Strip, in fresh violations of the ceasefire.
The attacks came just hours after U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff announced the launch of the second phase of President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan, which was supposed to move from a ceasefire toward a technocratic administration and reconstruction.
Warplanes struck eastern Gaza City and eastern Khan Younis, while Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Gaza City. Artillery shells also targeted the northeastern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Israeli forces additionally carried out controlled demolitions of residential buildings east of Jabalia in northern Gaza, as ceasefire breaches continue despite the agreement in effect since October 10.
