In Pictures: Gaza Faces Dire Shortages Despite Ceasefire

Gaza Herald – One week into the ceasefire agreement, Palestinians in Gaza continue to endure severe humanitarian conditions. Despite the pause in fighting, access to basic necessities such as food, water, and medicine remains critically limited as Israel heavily restricts aid entry into the devastated Strip.

While a few aid trucks entered on Wednesday, officials describe the assistance as a mere “drop in the ocean.” Health services are still overwhelmed, and most of Gaza’s 2.2 million residents have been displaced from their homes.

The destruction is widespread, with nearly 68,000 Palestinians reported killed, highlighting the urgent need for unrestricted humanitarian relief and reconstruction efforts.
