Gaza Herald – The death toll among Palestinian journalists has climbed to 255, following the announcement of the martyrdom of journalist Saleh Al-Ja’frawi, who had worked with multiple media organizations.
His killing adds to the growing list of reporters deliberately targeted during Israel’s genocidal assault on the Gaza Strip.
The Government Media Office in Gaza condemned what it described as a systematic campaign of assassination against journalists, holding Israel and its allies, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, fully responsible for these “heinous crimes.”
The office called on the International Federation of Journalists, global media unions, and human rights bodies to take urgent and decisive action to protect journalists and the killing spree and hold the perpetrators accountable before international courts.
