“Safe Zones” Turned to Killing Fields as Israel Intensifies Gaza Bombardment

Gaza Herald – Within just 24 hours of a statement from U.S. President Donald Trump, at least seventy Palestinians were killed in relentless Israeli attacks, most of them civilians in displacement areas.

What Israel calls “safe zones” have turned into open killing fields, exposing the systematic nature of a campaign designed to erase life rather than protect it.

As night fell, Gaza’s skies roared with the sound of heavy artillery and fighter jets. The bombardment stretched from Gaza City to the so-called evacuation zones in the center, where thousands of displaced families huddled in fear.

For three relentless hours, explosions shattered what little sense of safety remained, leaving people trembling in the cold darkness.

Despite international talk of a ceasefire and a “first phase” deal, nothing changed on the ground. Instead, the bombardment only intensified, destroying homes, silencing families, and proving once again that Israel’s genocide is not about security, but about annihilation.
