Gaza Herald- ِِAmnesty International has named fifteen multinational companies whose weapons, technologies, and equipment are directly contributing to Israel’s apartheid system against Palestinians and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The rights group said on Thursday that both states and corporations must immediately end activities enabling Israel’s crimes, warning that complicity in war crimes carries legal and moral consequences.
Among the companies listed is American arms giant Boeing, whose munitions have been used in Israel’s relentless bombardment of Gaza. Chinese surveillance firm Hikvision, a global leader in facial recognition technology, was also named for its role in strengthening Israel’s system of control over Palestinians.
Another major player is Palantir, the U.S. software company known for providing advanced data analysis and surveillance systems to the Israeli army and intelligence services.
European and Asian firms are also implicated. Spain’s railway manufacturer CAF and South Korea’s conglomerate HD Hyundai were cited for supplying heavy machinery that has been “widely used in the destruction of Palestinian homes and infrastructure” across the occupied territories.
Amnesty’s findings come just days after a coalition of more than 80 NGOs_including Oxfam and the Human Rights League_called on governments, especially in Europe, to end trade with Israel’s illegal settlements and stop enabling its war machine.
The report adds growing pressure on the corporations profiting from the bloodshed in Gaza, exposing how global industry, from weapons to software to construction, has become entangled in the machinery of occupation and ethnic cleansing.
