Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued to violate the ceasefire in Gaza on Sunday, with artillery fire and gunfire reported in areas where displaced Palestinian families are sheltering.
Local sources reported that the body of a Palestinian killed by Israeli fire was recovered from Al-Tina Street south of Khan Younis. The Palestinian was reportedly killed the previous day.
Another Palestinian was wounded by Israeli gunfire in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, according to local sources.
Israeli forces have continued attacks and other ceasefire violations across Gaza, including artillery and airstrikes near areas sheltering displaced Palestinians, demolition operations within the area known as the “Yellow Line,” and continued restrictions affecting the movement of goods, humanitarian aid and people.
According to figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 1,264 Palestinians have been killed and 4,168 injured in Gaza since the ceasefire began on October 10, 2025, while Civil Defense teams have recovered 804 bodies.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s genocide on Gaza has killed approximately 73,393 Palestinians and injured 174,280, according to Palestinian health authorities.
The continued casualties underscore the devastating human cost borne by Palestinians in Gaza, where displaced families remain exposed to Israeli fire despite the ceasefire and continue to face severe restrictions on movement, humanitarian access and basic necessities.
