Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continued violating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip for the 211th consecutive day on Friday, carrying out artillery shelling, heavy gunfire, and attacks targeting civilians in multiple areas across the territory.
Local sources reported that Israeli tanks opened intense fire east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, while artillery shelling simultaneously struck other parts of the city.
Israeli naval gunboats also fired heavy machine guns toward the sea west of Gaza City, amid ongoing military escalation across the coastal enclave.
In central Gaza, Israeli artillery targeted areas surrounding the Wadi Gaza bridge northeast of the Nuseirat and Al-Bureij refugee camps.
On Thursday, three Palestinian police officers were killed and several others injured after Israeli aircraft struck a security post west of Gaza City.
Israeli occupation forces have continued breaching the ceasefire through airstrikes, artillery bombardment, and attacks near shelters housing displaced civilians, alongside demolitions and destruction inside areas known as the “Yellow Line.” Restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel also remain in place.
According to figures released by Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, has risen to 846, with 2,418 injuries reported and 769 bodies recovered from different areas.
The ministry added that the overall death toll since the beginning of Israel’s genocide on Gaza on October 7, 2023, has climbed to 72,628 killed and 172,520 injured, reflecting the devastating human toll of the ongoing war on the Strip.
