Gaza Herald- The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today that the death toll of the Israeli genocidal war since October 2023 has reached 69,775, with 170,965 wounded.
In its daily statistical bulletin, the health ministry said that hospitals across the Strip received 17 victims over the past 24 hours, including three newly killed individuals and 14 bodies retrieved from under the rubble, along with 16 injured.
The ministry highlighted that Israel continues to violate the ongoing cease‑fire deal, which took effect on October 10, 2025, by bombing civilian targets across the Strip and firing at civilians. Since October 11, the ministry reported 345 Palestinians killed and 889 wounded during these violations.
It also warned that many victims remain under debris and trapped in the streets, where emergency and civil‑defense teams lack access to reach them.
In addition to mounting hostilities, the Israeli authorities have failed to meet commitments under the cease‑fire agreement, including the entry of hundreds of heavy‑duty machines needed to clear rubble and recover thousands of missing bodies.
At the same time, Israel is racing to retrieve remains of its captives, permitting only limited equipment entry for that mission, while families of the missing in Gaza continue pleading for answers about their loved ones’ fate.
The Gaza Government Media Office estimates that approximately 9,500 Palestinians remain missing, either beneath rubble or their fate still unknown, due to the Israeli offensive.
