Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Monday, carrying out artillery shelling, opening fire on residential areas, and continuing attacks across multiple parts of the enclave.
A Palestinian man was injured after Israeli forces opened fire near the Halawa Camp in Jabalia al-Balad, northern Gaza, according to local sources.
Israeli military vehicles also fired heavily toward the eastern Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, while sustained artillery shelling targeted eastern Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The latest attacks come amid ongoing Israeli violations of the October 2025 ceasefire, including airstrikes, artillery bombardments, detonation operations inside the so-called “Yellow Line”, and continued restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid, commercial goods and the movement of Palestinians.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 1,156 Palestinians have been killed, 3,703 injured, and 802 bodies recovered since the ceasefire took effect. Since October 7, 2023, the overall death toll has risen to 73,281, with 173,811 Palestinians injured across the Gaza Strip.
