Israeli Drone Strike Kills 8 Displaced Palestinians in Al-Nuseirat

Gaza Herald – Eight displaced Palestinians, including children and women, were killed when an Israeli drone targeted their tent in western Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, central Gaza.

The victims were in the process of setting up the tent after being forcibly displaced from northern Gaza, highlighting the ongoing brutality of Israeli attacks against civilians already uprooted by genocide.

With full US backing, Israel continues its genocidal war on Gaza. According to the Ministry of Health, the toll so far is 65,502 martyrs and 167,376 wounded, with over 9,000 missing, and famine claiming hundreds of lives. Over two million Palestinians live under forced displacement amid total destruction.

Israel has made children de facto targets: more than 20,000 children and 12,500 women have been killed, including 8,990 mothers. Over a thousand infants have perished, 450 of them born during the war and later killed, underscoring that the most vulnerable have been the most targeted.

Since Israel reneged on the ceasefire on 18 March 2025, 12,939 martyrs and 55,335 wounded have been recorded in subsequent strikes.

Since 27 May, when Israel converted aid‑distribution points into killing traps, 2,538 people have been killed, over 185,381 wounded, and 45 missing. The so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation”, widely seen as an Israeli‑US instrument, has been used to enforce a deadly logic of submission under the guise of “humanitarian work.”

Deaths from famine and malnutrition have climbed to 442, including 147 children.
