Gaza Herald – In a chilling escalation, Israel is preparing to flood Gaza with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech, directly transmitting it to Palestinian phones and blasting it through loudspeakers across Gaza City, Khan Younis, Rafah, and the Netzarim corridor.
According to Haaretz, Unit 8200, Israel’s shadowy intelligence division, has been tasked with delivering the propaganda message in Arabic, forcing a besieged population already enduring bombardment, starvation, and mass displacement to hear the words of the man overseeing their destruction.
Unit 8200 is Israel’s largest and most notorious intelligence division, specializing in electronic surveillance, cyberwarfare, and psychological operations.
Often compared to the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA), the unit has been repeatedly accused by rights groups of conducting mass surveillance on Palestinians, weaponizing private information to exert control, and using propaganda tactics to break civilian morale.
Its role in broadcasting Netanyahu’s speech into Gaza fits into a long-standing strategy of psychological warfare aimed at deepening the suffering of a besieged population already enduring bombardment, starvation, and forced displacement.
