Gaza: 5 Killed Including 4 Women in Israeli Strike

Gaza Herald – Five citizens, including four women, were killed and others injured following an Israeli airstrike on a residential apartment near Haydar Roundabout in the Al-Rimal district of western Gaza City. This was confirmed by a Sana correspondent reporting from the scene.

The correspondent stated that Israeli aircraft launched two separate strikes in the western part of Gaza City during the incident. The attack resulted in significant casualties among the residents of the targeted building.

Simultaneously, the Israeli army carried out demolition operations in the eastern part of the city. These actions occurred alongside the aerial bombardment in the west, indicating a coordinated military campaign across multiple fronts within the urban area.

In the southern sector of the Strip, the correspondent reported heavy Israeli artillery shelling east of Khan Younis city. This bombardment took place while Israeli armored vehicles fired intensively in the Al-Qarara area, located to the northeast of the city.

Further south, Israeli forces engaged in intense firing in the Mawasi area, situated west of Rafah city. Reports indicate a renewal of gunfire in this specific zone, adding to the ongoing violence affecting civilian populations in the region.

The latest casualty figures highlight the continued escalation of hostilities. Previous reports mentioned a new massacre involving eight martyrs after a bus was targeted, along with scattered shelling in Gaza that left one woman dead from her injuries.

Additional incidents included six martyrs and several injured persons due to Israeli shelling in various parts of the Gaza Strip. Transport vehicles were also targeted, marking another phase of collective killing and attacks on livelihood means.
