Israeli Strike Kills Five Palestinians, Including Four Women

Gaza Herald — Five Palestinians, including four women, were killed and others injured early Saturday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a residential apartment near Haydar Roundabout in the Rimal neighborhood of western Gaza City.

According to reports from the scene, Israeli warplanes carried out two separate strikes in western Gaza City, with one hitting the residential building and causing multiple casualties.

The attack came as Israeli forces carried out further military operations across the Gaza Strip.

In eastern Gaza City, Israeli occupation forces conducted demolition operations against buildings and structures while airstrikes continued in western parts of the city.

In southern Gaza, Israeli artillery heavily shelled areas east of Khan Younis, while Israeli military vehicles opened intense fire in al-Qarara, northeast of the city.

Further south, Israeli forces also opened heavy fire in the al-Mawasi area west of Rafah, as Israeli military operations continued across several parts of the Strip.

The latest killings add to the continuing Palestinian death toll from Israeli attacks across Gaza, where airstrikes, artillery shelling, gunfire and demolition operations have continued despite the ceasefire.

The attack on the Gaza City apartment once again left civilians among the dead, with women accounting for four of the five Palestinians killed.
