Palestinian Teen Killed by Settlers in Kobar

Gaza Herald – Baha Sami Amin Al-Natsha, a 19-year-old Palestinian youth, was killed by Israeli settlers in the town of Kobar, located northwest of Ramallah. His body remains detained by authorities following the incident that occurred on Friday evening.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the martyrdom of Al-Natsha, identifying him as a resident of Kafr Aqab village. He succumbed to injuries sustained from gunfire fired by settlers while he was in Kobar.

According to local accounts provided to Quds News Network, Al-Natsha was accompanied by another young man from Kafr Aqab. The two were heading toward a farm situated in an area adjacent to a settlement outpost when the shooting took place.

An eyewitness stated that the pair were traveling to the farm amidst heavy military presence in the region. The witness noted that settlers opened fire on them, apparently believing the youths were attempting to harvest olives in the area.

The shooter inflicted wounds on both young men before Al-Natsha died from his injuries. The witness emphasized that the families of the victims were not immediately notified of the attack when it occurred.

Local residents attempted to approach the gate of the area to reach the injured survivor and retrieve the body of the deceased, but access was restricted. The situation remained tense as security forces maintained control over the zone.

This incident follows a separate attack earlier on Friday, where two other youths were injured by settlers near the outskirts of Yabrud village, east of Ramallah. Local sources reported that settlers launched the assault under the protection of occupation forces, while villagers resisted the intrusion.

Data from the Shirin Abu Akleh Observatory indicates that since the beginning of the year until October 2, 2026, 106 Palestinians have been killed and 1,989 others injured in the West Bank due to settler violence and military operations.
