Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that four Palestinians were killed and 20 others wounded over the past 24 hours, as the humanitarian and security situation across the Strip remains critical despite the ongoing ceasefire agreement.
According to the ministry’s daily report, the latest fatalities include two newly recorded Palestinians killed, one person who succumbed to previous injuries, and another body recovered from different areas of the Gaza Strip. The figures highlight the continuing human toll of the war and its aftermath.
The ministry stated that since the ceasefire took effect on 11 October 2025, the number of Palestinians killed has risen to 1,027, while 3,280 Palestinians have been injured. An additional 785 bodies have been recovered from previously inaccessible locations during the same period.
Health officials also reported that the cumulative death toll since the outbreak of the war on 7 October 2023 has reached 73,039 Palestinians killed, with 173,388 injured, making it one of the deadliest periods in Gaza’s modern history.
The ministry warned that an unknown number of victims remain trapped beneath rubble or stranded in areas inaccessible to emergency teams. Ongoing Israeli attacks and extensive destruction continue to hinder rescue operations and delay recovery efforts.
