Woman Killed as Israeli Ceasefire Violations Continue Across Gaza

Gaza Herald – A Palestinian woman was killed on Monday morning after Israeli occupation forces targeted an area adjacent to her home in the town of Al-Zawayda in central Gaza, amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement.

Medical sources at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported that Nadia Kamal Ayyash was killed when Israeli fire struck an area near her residence in the town.

Her death comes a day after nine Palestinians were reportedly killed in separate incidents across the Gaza Strip.

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and live fire targeting civilian areas, including locations where displaced families have sought shelter. Demolition operations and attacks have also continued within areas known locally as the “Yellow Line,” alongside ongoing restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.

According to figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, has risen to 995, with 3,138 others injured. Rescue teams have also recovered 783 bodies from beneath the rubble during the same period.

The ministry added that the cumulative toll since the start of the genocide on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,005 deaths and 173,246 injuries, highlighting the immense human cost of the ongoing Israeli genocide and its impact on Gaza’s civilian population.
