Gaza Herald – Two individuals sustained injuries on Wednesday evening when an Israeli airstrike hit the Marj Harouf to Zabadan road in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon. The LNA reported that the attack resulted in two wounded civilians.
The Israeli military launched a series of strikes across multiple towns in the region. Targets included the areas of Khiam, Sarbeen, Al Mansouri, and Nabatieh Fouka. Additional operations occurred in the Araish zone situated between the villages of Hadatha and Hareis.
According to the Lebanese News Agency, the Israeli forces conducted two separate airstrikes on Qantara near the Wadi al-Salouqi valley. These actions followed explicit warnings issued by the Lebanese Army regarding ongoing violations of sovereignty.
Military leadership stated that continued breaches threaten existing understandings and arrangements. They emphasized that escalation poses a direct risk to regional stability and local security frameworks established through recent diplomatic efforts.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Lebanese Army announced it had recorded approximately 7,700 violations since the signing of the Framework Agreement on June 26. This figure highlights the intensity of cross-border activities over the past month.
Commanders noted that Israeli forces have intensified targeting residential areas and institutions over recent days. This surge in activity has caused significant casualties among the civilian population, including women and children.
A recent massacre in the town of Kafr Kaman in the Nabatieh district resulted in at least twelve deaths. The victims included families residing in homes directly impacted by the bombardment campaigns.
Tensions remain high as raids and artillery fire continue in various parts of southern Lebanon. The area surrounding Nabatieh city has seen particularly heavy concentrations of military activity and destruction.
Local health authorities confirmed the status of the injured from the latest strike. Medical teams responded to the scene to provide immediate care for those affected by the explosions and debris.
Diplomatic channels remain active as international observers monitor the situation closely. The goal is to prevent further escalation while ensuring humanitarian access for affected communities in the border regions.
