Two Palestinians Killed in Gaza as Israeli Forces Continue Ceasefire Violations

Gaza Herald – Two Palestinians were killed and dozens injured as Israeli military forces intensified shelling across multiple sectors of the Gaza Strip, marking a continued breach of the ceasefire agreement. The first fatality was identified as Diaa Abu Al-Rous, who died following an Israeli drone strike near the power station north of Nuseirat camp in the central region. The second victim, Arfat Al-Arair, succumbed to injuries sustained in a previous Israeli artillery barrage targeting the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood in southwestern Gaza City.

According to Wafa News Agency correspondents, heavy artillery fire targeted areas east of Gaza City with significant intensity. Simultaneously, Israeli forces conducted concentrated shelling north of Al-Bureij camp in the central sector. Armored vehicles also opened fire heavily northeast of Khan Younis city in the southern part of the territory, further escalating tensions in the area.

Additional reports indicated that Israeli military machinery fired extensively around the Ramzon Al-Sanafour area, located east of the Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. Earlier in the morning, artillery units struck the Al-Alamiya district near Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern sector. These actions coincided with intense shelling and gunfire from armored vehicles in the Sultans area west of Beit Lahiya town in the north.

Israeli naval vessels also engaged in firing shells and projectiles into the waters off Gaza City, extending the scope of hostilities beyond land borders. This pattern of activity underscores the ongoing instability despite declared truce terms, as multiple fronts remain active under continuous bombardment.

The Gaza Health Ministry reported that the total number of martyrs since the war began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 74,570, with 175,808 individuals wounded. Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, the ministry stated that 1,574 people have been killed and 5,687 injured. Additionally, authorities confirmed that 845 bodies have been recovered from the rubble.
