Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces have committed more than 3,300 violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement since it came into effect, according to figures released by Gaza’s Government Media Office, highlighting the systematic erosion of the truce and its humanitarian commitments.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the office stated that 3,338 ceasefire violations had been documented by the 251st day of the agreement. The reported violations have resulted in the killing of 1,012 Palestinians and the injury of 3,208 others, while at least 100 Palestinians have been detained during the ceasefire period.
The report also pointed to significant failures in implementing the humanitarian provisions of the agreement. Only 54,023 aid trucks have entered Gaza, out of the 150,600 expected to reach the territory under the terms of the deal, representing just 36% of the agreed humanitarian access.
Restrictions on civilian movement have likewise persisted. According to the report, only 7,417 travelers have been allowed to leave Gaza through the Rafah crossing, despite agreements that envisioned the travel of approximately 20,600 Palestinians during the same period.
Palestinian officials warned that the continued Israeli violations, combined with restrictions on aid deliveries and movement, are deepening Gaza’s humanitarian crisis and undermining prospects for a sustainable ceasefire. Large portions of the population remain dependent on humanitarian assistance amid widespread destruction of infrastructure and basic services.
The Government Media Office condemned Israel’s ongoing policies against the Palestinian population and held Israeli occupation fully responsible for the worsening humanitarian conditions across the Gaza Strip.
The statement also called on international mediators and guarantors of the ceasefire agreement to take urgent action to ensure full implementation of all provisions of the deal and to halt the ongoing Israeli violations that continue to endanger civilians throughout Gaza.
