Gaza Herald- Five Palestinians were killed on Saturday in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip as Israeli ceasefire violations continued.
According to local sources, four members of the Al-Safadi family were killed and several others injured after an Israeli strike targeted their apartment on Al-Thalathini Street in Gaza City early Saturday morning.
The victims were identified as Hussein Al-Safadi, his wife, and their two young daughters.
Another Palestinian was killed in a separate Israeli strike near the Al-Saftawi Junction north of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Israeli tanks opened fire from their positions south of the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah and south of Khan Younis, while Israeli naval vessels carried out heavy gunfire attacks off the southern coast of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement through airstrikes, artillery shelling targeting areas where displaced civilians are sheltering, as well as demolition operations and destruction inside the so-called “Yellow Line” zone. Restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel also remain in place.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, has risen to 1,014, with 3,165 injuries reported and 784 bodies recovered from previously inaccessible areas.
The ministry added that the overall toll since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,025 killed and 173,273 wounded, highlighting the devastating human cost of the ongoing war in Gaza.
