Gaza Civil Defense: 36 Palestinians Killed Since Start of June Amid Ongoing Israeli Violations

Gaza Herald – Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal revealed that 36 Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of June, including three children and six women, as a result of continued Israeli violations across the Gaza Strip.

Basal stated that these figures represent more than statistics, reflecting the human toll suffered by Palestinian families who have lost loved ones during the past few days.

He stressed that women and children remain among the most affected groups as attacks continue and humanitarian conditions deteriorate, noting that every victim leaves behind a story, a grieving family, and dreams that will never be fulfilled.

The announcement came as Gaza’s Health Ministry reported 10 killed and 36 injured over the previous 24 hours. According to the ministry, six people were killed during that period, including five newly reported fatalities and one individual who succumbed to earlier injuries.

Health authorities also reported that the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on 10 October has risen to 961, with 3,020 others injured. An additional 782 bodies have been recovered from areas previously inaccessible due to ongoing hostilities.

Since the beginning of the genocide in October 2023, the cumulative death toll in Gaza has reached 72,971 Palestinians, while the number of wounded has risen to 173,012, highlighting the immense human cost of the continuing war and humanitarian crisis in the besieged territory.
