Gaza Herald – Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip continued for the 232nd consecutive day, despite the truce reached through Arab and U.S. mediation in October 2025, which officially came into effect on October 11 of that year.
Three Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple areas across the Gaza Strip at dawn on Friday, amid ongoing attacks and bombardment of Palestinians’ homes and agricultural lands.
According to local sources, an Israeli airstrike targeted a police post near the slaughterhouse area in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killing three Palestinians and injuring several others. Two of the victims were identified as police officer Hossam Mazen Shurab and Mohammad Osama al-Dadda, while the identity of the third victim has not yet been confirmed.
Earlier on Thursday evening, another Palestinian was killed and several others injured in an Israeli strike on al-Zaytoun neighborhood south of Gaza City. Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces demolished two residential blocks in Deir al-Balah and al-Shati refugee camp as ceasefire violations intensified.
Local sources reported that Israeli aircraft bombed the vicinity of Imam al-Shafi’i Mosque in al-Zaytoun neighborhood, killing 24-year-old Abdullah Ashraf Abdel Wahab and wounding several others.
In a parallel attack, several civilians were injured after Israeli shelling targeted agricultural land near greenhouses and a structure in al-Mawasi area of al-Qarara, northwest of Khan Younis. One injured civilian was transferred to Nasser Medical Complex, while extensive material damage was reported in the area.
Sources added that the region witnessed repeated Israeli air raids alongside heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles positioned east of Khan Younis, causing further destruction to targeted civilian areas.
In Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential apartment in al-Yarmouk area in the city center, injuring five Palestinians and causing widespread destruction.
In central Gaza’s Deir al-Balah, Israeli aircraft struck the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital north of the city, destroying a home in the Abu Mansi neighborhood after residents had evacuated it.
Another strike targeted agricultural land near the hospital, inflicting additional destruction in the surrounding area. Israeli artillery shelling also continued northeast of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, while Israeli occupation forces detonated residential buildings east of Gaza City.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in its latest update that the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire began on October 11 has risen to 922 Palestinians l, with 2,786 injuries recorded, in addition to the recovery of 781 bodies from various areas across the Gaza Strip.
According to the ministry’s cumulative statistics since the start of the Israeli genocide on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the overall death toll has climbed to 72,819 Palestinians, while the number of injured has reached 172,894.
