Gaza Herald – A young Palestinian man succumbed to his wounds on Monday morning, while another civilian was injured by Israeli fire in the Gaza Strip amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement.
Medical sources confirmed the death of Ahmad Samir Farhat, who succumbed to the injuries he sustained two days earlier in an Israeli strike targeting al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
In a separate incident, a Palestinian civilian was injured after Israeli forces shelled a house in al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
On Sunday, five Palestinians were killed, including three members of the same family, and several others were wounded in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, as repeated ceasefire violations continued.
Israeli occupation forces have continued breaching the ceasefire agreement through airstrikes, artillery shelling targeting displacement areas, and demolition operations inside what is referred to as the “Yellow Line,” while also maintaining restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.
According to figures released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, has risen to 901 Palestinians killed and 2,677 wounded, in addition to 777 bodies recovered from under the rubble.
The ministry added that the overall death toll since the beginning of Israel’s genocide on Gaza on October 7, 2023, has climbed to 72,794 Palestinians killed and 172,779 injured, reflecting the devastating human cost of the ongoing attack on the besieged enclave.
