Nine Palestinian Victims’ Remains Recovered from Gaza Rubble

Gaza Herald – Civil defense teams recovered the remains of nine Palestinians from two sites in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood, where Israeli attacks had destroyed residential buildings during the genocide.

Four victims’ remains were recovered from the Abu Shammala family home after two days of search operations. Teams then moved to another site in Zeitoun, where five more bodies have so far been recovered, with searches for additional victims continuing.

The recovery operations are taking place amid Gaza’s vast destruction and a severe shortage of heavy equipment, leaving thousands of Palestinians still buried beneath collapsed homes and buildings.

The Civil Defense estimates that the remains of around 15,000 Palestinians are still trapped beneath the rubble across Gaza, many of whom cannot yet be reached because of the scale of destruction and the lack of necessary machinery and resources.
