Israeli Strike Wipes Out Entire Family in Gaza as Ceasefire Violations Escalate

Gaza Herald – Three Palestinians from the same family were killed and several others injured early Sunday after an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential apartment in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli aircraft bombed the apartment, killing Mohammad Ibrahim Abu Malouh, 38, his wife Alaa Majdi Zaqlan, 36, and their one-year-old son Osama.

Israeli aircraft also launched an airstrike on the city of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, sparking fires in the targeted area and causing extensive damage near Yaffa Hospital.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces carried out detonations in the northeast of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, alongside artillery shelling targeting eastern areas of Gaza City.

Israeli military vehicles also opened fire east of Khan Younis and northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip through ongoing air and artillery attacks on areas sheltering displaced civilians, in addition to detonations within what is known as the “Yellow Line,” while maintaining severe restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the death toll since the ceasefire began on October 10 has risen to 900 Palestinians killed, with 2,677 injured, in addition to 777 bodies recovered from the rubble.

The overall toll of Israel’s war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has reached 72,793 killed and 172,779 injured, highlighting the devastating human cost of the ongoing war on the besieged enclave.
