Gaza Herald- At least 11 Palestinians, including two children, were killed in a series of Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, according to local authorities and medical sources.
A three-year-old child and a 14-year-old were among those killed in attacks targeting northern Gaza, Gaza’s Civil Defence and Reuters reported.
In Gaza City, four people were killed when an Israeli strike hit a police vehicle in the city centre, Civil Defence spokesperson Mahmoud Basal said. Gaza’s Ministry of Interior confirmed that the attack resulted in multiple casualties, including a police officer, and left at least nine civilians injured, some in critical condition.
Earlier in the day, one person was killed by Israeli fire in the Beit Lahiya area in northern Gaza.
Later in the evening, another strike targeted an area near an intersection in the Shati refugee camp, also in Gaza City. Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital reported receiving five bodies following a drone strike that hit a group of people, firing two missiles. Several others were wounded in the attack, which reportedly struck near a café.
The attacks come despite a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas that took effect on October 10, 2025. While the agreement reduced the intensity of fighting, Israeli forces have continued near-daily strikes across the territory.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, nearly 760 Palestinians have been killed and more than 2,100 injured since the ceasefire began. The overall death toll since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, has risen to over 72,300, with more than 172,000 reported injured.
