Israel Escalates Gaza Ceasefire Violations, Threatens to Resume Genocide

Gaza Herald – The Israeli occupation forces continued early today to violate the ceasefire agreement for the 188th consecutive day, carrying out gunfire, artillery shelling, and renewed attacks, following a day in which 10 Palestinians were killed.

According to local sources, Israeli military vehicles opened fire near Al-Tahlia area south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Artillery shelling also targeted eastern Khan Younis and eastern areas of Gaza City, while Israeli tanks fired heavily east of Jabalia in northern Gaza.

Additional shelling struck eastern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp and Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, accompanied by intense gunfire from military vehicles.

Overnight, five Palestinians were killed and 11 others injured in an attack near Qahwat Ghaban in Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City.

Another five civilians were killed the previous day in a strike targeting a police vehicle and gunfire, amid a continued escalation of ceasefire violations.

The Israeli military continues to breach the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October last year, with repeated attacks reported across different areas of the Gaza Strip.
