Four People Killed, Several Others Injured in Israeli Airstrike East of Gaza

Gaza Herald – Four Palestinians were killed and several others seriously injured on Thursday morning after an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of civilians near Al-Shawa Square in eastern Gaza City.

Local sources reported that the civilians were present in the area at the time of the attack, which resulted in four killed and multiple serious injuries.

The incident comes amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which since October 2025 have resulted in more than 677 Palestinians killed and 1,813 injured.

The ceasefire had ended a two-year-long Israeli military campaign described by Palestinians as a genocidal war that began on 8 October 2023, which claimed over 72,000 lives and injured more than 171,000 people.
