Israeli Gunfire Kills Palestinian Man in Khan Younis as Gaza Ceasefire Violations Continue

Gaza Herald – A Palestinian man was killed Monday morning after Israeli forces opened fire in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to local sources.

In a separate incident, a child was wounded by Israeli gunfire in the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahia, medical sources said.

On Sunday, nine police officers were also killed after Israeli aircraft struck their vehicle near the entrance of Al-Zawayda town in central Gaza.

Israeli forces have continued to carry out airstrikes, artillery shelling, and live fire across the Gaza Strip despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10, 2025.

According to the latest daily report documenting ceasefire violations, the death toll since the truce began has reached 671 people, including 199 children, 81 women, and 21 elderly individuals, meaning that civilians from vulnerable groups account for 45.5% of the fatalities.
