Gaza Herald – The “Al-Haris” platform, affiliated with resistance security in Gaza, released details Wednesday of what it described as the confession of a female collaborator recruited by Israeli intelligence.
The case was published under the hashtag “Confession of an Agent,” with the individual identified by the pseudonym “Suad” for security reasons.
According to the platform, the woman said she was recruited in February 2024 while staying at a displacement shelter. She allegedly admitted to being tasked with gathering information and luring specific targets, including entering tents and homes under the pretext of seeking assistance to verify identities and monitor individuals.
The report further said she transported small technical devices as part of what it described as an organized effort to exploit humanitarian vulnerabilities and penetrate Gaza’s internal front.
The platform said the use of a pseudonym was strictly for security reasons and asserted that publishing the confession was intended to warn the public about recruitment tactics during times of acute humanitarian distress. It framed the case within the broader context of the ongoing war that began on October 7, 2023, which Gaza authorities report has resulted in more than 242,000 Palestinians killed or injured, over 11,000 missing, and widespread displacement and destruction across the territory.
