Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Health Ministry said that at least 420 Palestinians were killed and 1,184 injured since the ceasefire took effect, underscoring what officials described as continued Israeli violations that have turned the truce into a deadly illusion.
In the past 24 hours alone, two Palestinians were confirmed dead, one of them killed when a building collapsed in Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The ministry said 13 others were wounded during the same period as a result of ongoing Israeli attacks.
Health officials warned that an unknown number of victims remain trapped under rubble, as ambulance and civil defense crews were unable to reach several areas due to destruction and danger on the ground.
Since the ceasefire began on October 11, 2025, authorities have reported 684 bodies recovered, adding to the mounting toll. Since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the cumulative figures have reached 71,386 killed and 171,264 injured, according to the ministry, numbers that continue to rise as civilians bear the cost of an unending assault.
