Israel Strikes Gaza Anew

Gaza Herald – Israeli warplanes launched intense air raids on Khan Yunis and Rafah on Monday morning, while artillery fire targeted multiple areas across Gaza. Earlier in Khan Yunis, several homes were demolished in massive blasts, and helicopter gunships fired heavily on eastern and southern districts. Three airstrikes hit Rafah, with Israeli military aircraft patrolling the southern skies of the Strip.

The escalation came a day after Israeli fire killed a Palestinian woman and injured three others in Al-Tuffah, northeastern Gaza. A drone strike targeted civilians near Yafa Street, resulting in the killing of 48-year-old Noha Zuweid and injuries to three others, who were taken to hospitals for treatment.

In addition, three Palestinians were killed on Sunday in eastern Gaza due to shelling and Israeli gunfire, while another killed when a home collapsed in the western part of the city. Another civilian was killed by a drone-dropped explosive in Al-Shuja’iya, an area supposed to be safe under the October 10 ceasefire agreement.

These incidents highlight the ongoing violations of the fragile Gaza ceasefire. Since the agreement, Israeli attacks have claimed the lives of at least 404 Palestinians and injured hundreds more, underlining the persistent dangers faced by civilians in areas that should be protected under the truce.
