Palestinian Man Killed in New Israeli Strike on Khan Younis

Gaza Herald – A Palestinian man was killed Friday morning in an Israeli drone strike east of Khan Younis, as Israel continued its 49th consecutive day of ceasefire violations across Gaza.

Local sources said Abdullah Wajdi Rizq Hammad was killed in Bani Suheila after an Israeli drone fired on the area.

Israeli artillery simultaneously shelled eastern Khan Younis while helicopters opened heavy fire, and Israeli warships targeted the coastline. In Rafah, Israeli aircraft launched multiple strikes on the city’s northeastern neighborhoods, expanding attacks across the southern Strip despite the declared ceasefire.

The Gaza-based Human Rights Center said 350 Palestinians, including 130 children and 54 women, have been killed during 47 days of Israeli violations since the ceasefire began. The organization documented more than 535 violations, averaging over 11 a day, including shelling, invasions, home demolitions, and widespread assaults.

The center added that Israel has severely restricted humanitarian aid by allowing only 211 trucks per day, despite claims of permitting 600. It said Israel has not honored agreed-upon withdrawal maps and has continued imposing fire control and ground incursions deep inside civilian areas.
