130 Children and 54 Women Killed Since Gaza Ceasefire, Rights Center Reports

Gaza Herald- The Gaza Center for Human Rights reported that 350 Palestinians were killed in 47 days after the ceasefire declaration, over half of whom were vulnerable civilians.

According to the center’s statement, Israeli ceasefire violations over the past seven weeks signal an ongoing policy of genocide amid total international silence.

The center reported daily ceasefire violations since October 10, citing repeated strikes, incursions, civilian targeting, and aid restrictions as signs of non-compliance with the ceasefire.

The center stated that many of the victims, including children, women, and the elderly, were killed within the designated “yellow zone” outlined in the ceasefire agreement. It also reported a total of 889 casualties, more than 60% of which affected vulnerable groups.

The center reported more than 535 violations in 47 days, including strikes, incursions, arrests and home demolitions.

It reported that Israel failed to follow the withdrawal map, continued daily demolitions and fire control, and restricted aid entry to about 211 trucks per day, far fewer than the 600 it claimed to allow.

The center warned about ongoing restrictions on fuel and essential supplies entering Gaza, noting that thousands of trucks remain blocked, worsening the humanitarian crisis and hindering recovery from famine and malnutrition.

It also reported that the Rafah crossing remains closed, hundreds of detainees and missing persons are held, and released prisoners report enforced disappearances, torture, and abuse.

The center stressed that the situation in Gaza represents a continuation of the genocidal trajectory, involving widespread killings, destruction of living conditions, and targeting of civilians and livelihoods.

The center reported that 47 days after the ceasefire, attacks continue, lives are at risk, and the recent weather system flooded hundreds of tents.

The center urged the international community to end the silence and fulfill its legal obligations to protect civilians and stop violations.

The center stressed that a true ceasefire requires international oversight, open crossings, civilian protection, and justice for Gaza’s residents.
