Gaza Herald – Five newly freed Palestinian prisoners were transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital on Thursday via Red Cross medical teams, following their release from Israeli jails under the ongoing exchange arrangement as part of the Gaza ceasefire deal.
The released prisoners included Palestinian nurse Tasneem al-Hummas, the daughter of detained doctor Marwan al-Hummas, who was kidnapped from the Gaza Strip more than a month ago by an Israeli distinguished unit.
Their release comes as Gaza continues to endure Israel’s genocidal violations of the truce, with more than 350 Palestinians killed and nearly 900 injured since the agreement began, many of them children and women, amid continued raids, shelling, and systematic obstruction of humanitarian access.
