Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Rada’a Unit, the field wing of the Resistance Security, announced it is launching a broad accountability campaign targeting individuals exploiting wartime suffering for personal gain. The unit said it would not allow anyone to turn the pain of Palestinians into an opportunity for extortion or illegal profit.
Rada’a emphasized that strict measures would be taken against anyone undermining community security or violating citizens’ dignity. The unit urged the public to report any suspicious or abusive practices immediately, noting that all information received would trigger direct field action to deter corruption and protect people’s rights.
The unit stressed that safeguarding Gaza’s social fabric during such catastrophic conditions is a shared national responsibility, and vowed to continue protecting civilians and pursuing those who prey on their needs.
The announcement came as Israel continues to violate the ceasefire in place since October 10 under the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement, repeatedly attacking the Strip and restricting the entry of desperately needed aid.
Earlier today, Gaza’s Health Ministry reported that the Israeli genocide death toll has risen to 69,785 since October 7, 2023, the vast majority women and children.
