Israeli War Remnants Explosion Injures Civilians in Gaza City

Gaza Herald – Several civilians were injured on Monday after an explosion from Israeli war remnants detonated in northwestern Gaza City.

Preliminary reports said children had been playing near unexploded ordnance when it went off, with the wounded were rushed to the hospital.

The incident adds to the deadly toll of Israel’s ongoing genocide, where even remnants of past bombardments continue to maim displaced families.

Earlier this month, the UN Mine Action Service warned that unexploded ordnance remains a severe threat across Gaza, as displaced Palestinians are forced to pitch tents in areas suspected of contamination due to a complete lack of safe shelter. Aid groups said that the danger is growing, with children and families paying the price of a landscape littered with Israeli explosives.
