Gaza Genocide Death toll Rises to 68,280 as More Bodies Recovered

Gaza Herald – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that the number of bodies recovered since the ceasefire was declared has reached 449, bringing the total death toll from Israel’s genocide in Gaza to 68,280 and 170,375 injured since October 7, 2023.

In the last 24 hours alone, 14 more victims were received by Gaza hospitals, one killed by a direct Israeli strike and 13 bodies recovered from the rubble.

Since the start of the so-called truce on October 10, 2025, the ministry reported 89 Palestinians killed, 317 injured, and hundreds of bodies still being uncovered in different areas of the Gaza Strip. It also confirmed that 32 newly identified victims have been officially added to the genocide toll.

The ministry warned that many victims remain trapped under the rubble of bombed homes, hospitals, and shelters, places once meant for safety. It called on families of the missing to assist in identifying their loved ones, stressing that rescue teams are unable to reach large parts of Gaza still devastated by Israel’s ongoing blockade and systematic destruction.
