117 Children Among 300 Palestinians Killed by Israel’s Starvation Policy in Gaza

Gaza Herald- The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Monday that the death toll from Israeli-enforced starvation and malnutrition has risen to 300 Palestinians, including 117 children, since October 7, 2023.

In its statement, the ministry reported that 11 people, including two children, died in the past 24 hours alone due to famine and malnutrition caused by Israel’s blockade.

This brings the total number of victims of famine and starvation in Gaza to 300 martyrs, including 117 children, since the beginning of Israel’s assault on October 7, according to the ministry.

Since March 2, Israel has completely sealed off all crossings into Gaza, blocking humanitarian aid from entering the enclave despite thousands of aid trucks piled up at the border. Only extremely limited amounts of supplies have been allowed in, far below the bare minimum needed to sustain the starving population.

With U.S. backing, Israel has waged a campaign of genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023 combining mass killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement while ignoring all international appeals and defying binding orders by the International Court of Justice to halt its actions.

The genocide has so far resulted in 62,686 Palestinians killed, 157,951 wounded (most of them children and women),, more than 9,000 missing, and hundreds of thousands displaced.
